Architect; Senior Project Manager

Tessa joined Basis Architecture & Consulting shortly after receiving her degree in Architecture from U.C. Berkeley. The firm has since grown considerably in size, reach, and work product. Tessa's expertise lies in project scoping, design development and overseeing construction. She has managed multiple award-winning projects for the firm and continues to develop new ways of seeing the task at hand. As an architect, she values smart planning and design, but is firmly rooted in the practical application of project funds and constraints. While working mostly on affordable housing projects, she has always had a passion for housing and has gained valuable experience in the industry.

Tessa moved from San Francisco to San Diego with her husband in February 2020 to oversee the Basis office. They now enjoy neighborhood walks, splashing in their pool, and family dance parties with their son and labradoodle.
